How it works · Conceptual approach
A direction for development.
The following sequence describes the questions guiding Perstia. It is a proposed approach, not a demonstration of implemented software.
1. Identify what must remain understandable
Which records matter? What context, formats, dependencies, and assumptions would another person need to interpret them later? These are research questions for future readiness.
2. Describe the conditions for continuity
A preserved record alone may not explain how it was produced or used. Planned work considers how those conditions could be documented and reviewed.
3. Make change visible
Future specifications need to distinguish a changed record from changed meaning or changed operating conditions. No automated Perstia comparison capability is claimed here.
4. Verify a recovery attempt
A future recovery claim should be backed by a repeatable test and recorded limits. No successful Perstia recovery test has been verified for this website.
